Naples – An escape ended in Naples for a couple of Chinese citizens, a 55-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, who escaped from house arrest in Latina. The two were tracked down and arrested yesterday morning by the State Police in Via Galileo Ferraris.
The operation was triggered by a tip from the Isernia Police Headquarters, which reached the Naples Police Headquarters Operations Room . Officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, during a local patrol, intercepted the two in a suspicious vehicle.
Subsequent investigations confirmed that the couple had escaped from house arrest. For this reason, they were immediately arrested. During the checks, the woman was found in possession of 2000 euros in 50-dollar bills, the provenance of which she was unable to justify, adding a further element to the investigation.
The State Police thus put an end to their fugitive status, bringing them back to justice after their escape.
The story of the two Chinese was very interesting but I wonder how they managed to escape from house arrest. It is not easy to escape from the law, but in the end they were found. I wonder if there are other people who have done the same.
