Forio d'Ischia – Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 1st July, the Carabinieri Station of Forio d'Ischia will be fully operational again in its historic headquarters, a stone's throw from the centre of the largest municipality on the island.
After a period of transfer to Casamicciola Terme in 2024, due to infrastructural difficulties, the Arma garrison returns to via Giovanni Castellaccio n. 70, in completely renovated premises equipped with cutting-edge equipment.
The reopening, made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Arma dei Carabinieri and the municipal administration, represents a strong signal for the safety of residents, traders and tourists, especially in view of the high summer season, when the island welcomes a high number of visitors.
The new headquarters, modern and functional, is configured as a strategic point of reference for the territory, strengthening the control and proximity of the police forces to the community.

It is important that the Carabinieri station has returned to its historic location, but I hope that there will be no more infrastructure problems like those we had in Casamicciola, safety is fundamental for all of us
