Frattamaggiore – A 27-year-old Neapolitan, already known to the police, was arrested yesterday evening by the State Police on charges of assault, resisting a public official and damaging public property. The episode occurred in via Domenico Pirozzi, following a report to the Operations Room of the Police Station of frattamaggiore for a troublesome individual.
When the officers arrived on the scene, they found a colleague off duty who was trying to contain the young man, who was visibly agitated. The 27-year-old, who had previously been taken to the Emergency Room of the San Giovanni di Dio Hospital for his altered state, had voluntarily left the building and started creating disorder in the street. At the sight of the officers, the man reacted violently, resisting and starting a fight, at the end of which he was immobilized with difficulty.
Taken aboard the service car, the young man continued his aggressive behavior, damaging the rear window of the vehicle. The arrested person is now at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
