Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a Georgian striker for Paris Saint-Germain, had a very bitter moment during his recent vacation. While he was in Cannes to spend a few days relaxing with his compatriot Zuriko Davitashvili, a footballer for Saint-Etienne, and with family and friends, his house in Paris was targeted by thieves.
According to Georgian newspaper Geo Team, the criminals entered the home of the former Napoli star and stole numerous valuables, including jewelry, designer bags and luxury watches. The theft cast a shadow over the footballer's summer break, forcing him to face an unpleasant situation away from the pitch.
The case once again highlights the risks high-profile athletes face during periods of absence, when their homes can become targets for thieves. kvaratskhelia, known for his talent and explosiveness on the pitch, will now also have to deal with this unpleasant episode.

It is really sad that an athlete like Kvaratskhelia has to face these situations, especially during the holidays. Home safety is important, but many athletes cannot always be careful and this is a problem.
