salerno – INPS requests the return of the Bonus Nido and protests erupt among families. Dozens of parents living in Altavilla Silentina, in the province of Salerno, have received official communications from the social security institution in recent days with the request to fully reimburse the sums received, in some cases exceeding 10 thousand euros, to be paid within 30 days.
The one who publicly denounced the case was Piera Acito, a working mother who was asked to return approximately 1.800 euros. “The reasons speak of undue perception, but the requests had been presented according to the established procedures, with complete and regularly accepted documentation,” she explains.
“Now – he adds – we find ourselves having to face an administrative paradox, in which collective responsibility is transformed into individual guilt. The INPS It tells us that we will be able to take action against those responsible later, but without indicating them."
The case has generated strong indignation among the parents involved, who are organizing a class action lawsuit with the aim of protecting their rights and clarifying the entire affair. "In a country that claims to want to support the birth rate and female employment - say some parents - we find ourselves penalized precisely for having chosen to build a future. It is yet another sign of the total lack of protection for families".
The families reached by the letters are making an appeal to the institutions, politicians and the media, so that full light is shed on the management of the bonus and reimbursement requests are immediately suspended, pending official clarifications.

It is truly incredible that INPS is asking for the return of the Bonus Nido, especially for families who have followed all the correct procedures. It is not clear how they can ask us to return such high sums without providing adequate explanations.
