On Tuesday 10 June 2025, from 18.30:20.00 pm to 12:XNUMX pm, the Limonaia di Villa di Donato, in Piazza Sant'Eframo Vecchio XNUMX, will host an unmissable event for lovers of contemporary fiction: the protagonist of the meeting will be the writer Maurizio de Giovanni, interviewed by the journalist Ida Palisi as part of the #SantEframobookclub review.

In the center, Sara Morozzi and “The Mute Parrot”

The event will revolve around de Giovanni's narrative universe, with a focus on his latest novel "Il pappagallo muto. Una storia di Sara" (Rizzoli), currently at the top of the publishing charts. The author will talk about the new investigation of former secret service agent Sara Morozzi, a central figure in the successful spy-crime series that has won over a large audience.

From book to Netflix series

Since June 3, the character of Sara has also landed on the small screen, thanks to the new Netflix series that sees Teresa Saponangelo in the role of the protagonist, alongside Claudia Gerini. In less than a week, the fiction has jumped to the top of the international charts, replicating the success of the book.

A dark and tense plot

In the new chapter of the saga, the tone becomes darker. Sara and her colleague Andrea Catapano are called back into service for a dangerous operation, balanced between truth and deception. A “game of mirrors” in which no one seems safe and which puts even the most experienced protagonists to the test.

Readings and live music in the charming Limonaia

During the meeting, de Giovanni will personally read some passages from the novel, accompanied on guitar by Maestro Pietro Condorelli. A moment of great suggestion, designed to create an intimate and engaging atmosphere between author and audience.

The event seems very interesting and engaging, but I don't understand how to book, maybe it's easier to go directly without warning. I hope there are many books available for those who want to buy and have signed.
