Milan is working to strengthen its defense in view of the 2025/26 season with the aim of giving Massimiliano Allegri a more solid and competitive squad. The possible departure of Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori has turned the spotlight on the defensive market and among the profiles monitored, that of Kim Min-Jae, a South Korean center back playing for Bayern Munich, has emerged strongly.
Coming off a season full of successes, Kim is best remembered in Italy for his key role in Napoli, champions of Italy for the third time, led by Luciano Spalletti. According to the latest rumors, the Korean has entrusted himself to a new agent with the aim of promoting a return to Serie A, while Bayern, determined to sell him, values his price tag around 30 million euros with no option for a loan.
Complicating the negotiations is also the player's salary, which is around 6,5 million per season until 2028, a figure that weighs on the Rossoneri budget. For these reasons, Kim's name for now remains more of a suggestion than a concrete objective, with the Milan who continues to explore other cheaper profiles such as Gila, Leoni, Comuzzo and Djimsiti.

In my opinion, Milan is right to look for reinforcements in defense but there are many factors to consider. Kim is a good player, but his salary is high and I don't know if it's worth spending so much for a defender.
