Napoli never ceases to be talked about and the State Mint pays homage to the historic championship victory with an official medal celebrating the fourth Scudetto of the Neapolitan team.
Made of 925‰ silver with the Fior di Conio technique, the work signed by the artist-engraver Silvia Ciucci is a true tribute not only to the sporting triumph, but also to the city of Naples, which in 2025 celebrates 2.500 years of history.
The obverse of the medal features the official SSC Napoli logo, embellished with touches of color, with the writing “SSC Napoli CAMPIONE D'ITALIA 2024 – 2025”. The reverse instead tells the story of the cultural and artistic richness of the city: a view from above of the historic center, a UNESCO heritage site, with the famous Decumani and a path through the most beloved and symbolic places, from the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Ampolla di San Gennaro to the streets of San Gregorio Armeno and historic churches such as San Lorenzo Maggiore and Gesù Nuovo.
There is no shortage of iconic references such as the Statue of the God Nile in Largo Corpo di Napoli, the Veiled Christ and the Federico II University, here represented as the “street of music” thanks to the stylised mandolin. At the centre of the main Decumanus, two symbols tell of the recent success: the scudetto and the number 4, to celebrate the historic fourth national victory.
The medal is available for purchase online from June 24th and, starting from July 3rd, also in two prestigious locations in Rome: the Green Space of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato and the Zecca Museum, accessible by reservation. A piece of art and history to collect for all fans and lovers of the city and sport.

And this medal is a nice tribute to Napoli who won the championship, but I don't know if the people in Naples are happy about this. The history of the city is important and they deserve to be celebrated.
