Local Police officers went into action in a strategic area, that of Cavalli di Bronzo, a nerve center for visitors using the City Sightseeing service and for residents looking for parking.
The complaint was filed after the unauthorized parking demanded money from a tourist to “grant” the right to park. The area, constantly monitored by patrols of the Anti-evasion and Security Investigative Operations Unit (Uoiaes), is at the center of intense control activity to ensure the safe use of public spaces.
Appreciation of the institutions
Mayor Gaetano Manfredi and the Councilor for Local Police expressed full appreciation for the operation conducted by the Municipal Police, underlining the importance of an investigative activity that is part of a broader strategy of prevention and contrast.
“These interventions are essential to restore safety and legality to citizens and tourists,” the councilor declared, highlighting however the need for more incisive regulatory tools to nip the phenomenon in the bud.
