Napoli– Another case of domestic violence and threats to obtain money: and this is why a 57-year-old Neapolitan man ended up in handcuffs, arrested by the Police of State on charges of mistreatment within the family and extortion.
The intervention began yesterday afternoon, when a patrol from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid was alerted by the Operations Room following a report of a family fight in a home on Corso Arnaldo Lucci.
When they arrived at the scene, the officers were greeted by two women – the man's mother and partner – who were visibly shaken. victims They said that shortly before, the 57-year-old had asked them for money and, when they refused, had gone berserk, threatening them with a kitchen knife and then with a bottle of alcohol and a lighter, pretending to intend to set them on fire.
According to the women, similar incidents had already occurred in the past. The officers therefore immediately blocked the man inside the house and arrested him.
The suspect is now at the disposal of the judicial authorities awaiting decisions on his precautionary fate.
