The goalkeeper won two league titles, in the 2022/23 and 2024/25 seasons, and one Coppa Italia, in the 2019/20 season, with the Azzurri. His debut in the Azzurri jersey was on 8 December 2018, during the 4-0 home win against Frosinone.
Meret has made 212 appearances for Napoli, keeping 68 clean sheets. No goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets than Alex Meret in the top five European leagues in 2024/25 (16, tied with Mile Svilar); furthermore, Meret has never done better in a Serie A season (16 clean sheets also in 2022/23).
In the last three seasons (since 2022/23) Alex Meret is the goalkeeper who has saved the most penalties in Serie A (five).
Rafa Marin instead who has never convinced Antonio Conte and the blue staff will soon be a new Villarreal player.
