Naples, – The Naples Flying Squad has executed two arrest warrants issued by the investigating judge at the request of the DDA against six suspects for wilful homicide aggravated by mafia methods and illegal possession of weapons.
The investigations, conducted with the Ponticelli Police Station, have reconstructed three murders committed between 2016 and 2018 by the Schisa-Minichini clan, active in the De Gasperi district of Ponticelli and allied with the Rinaldi clan-Reale di San Giovanni a Teduccio, in the context of a feud with the Sarno clan.
The first murder was that of Mario Volpicelli, killed on January 30, 2016 in Ponticelli in a gunshot ambush while he was returning home, targeted because of his family ties with the perpetrator of a previous crime.
The second case concerns Giovanni Sarno, murdered on 7 March 2016 in his home with two gunshots, because he was the brother of collaborators of justice of the Sarno clan.
The latest episode is the murder of Salvatore D'Orsi, a drug dealer close to the De Micco clan, killed on March 12, 2018 outside his home with numerous bullets, and died the following day in hospital.
