Naples – Major operation by the Guardia di Finanza in the industrial area of Naples, where over 22.500 cosmetic products harmful to health were seized.
The operation, conducted by the Green Berets of the Pronto Impiego Group, involved targeted checks in various commercial establishments and wholesale centers in the streets Gianturco, Carlo di Tocco and Galileo Ferraris.
In one of the shops inspected, the finance police discovered thousands of cosmetics articles – including eye shadows, lipsticks, pencils, face glitter, lip gloss and gel nail stickers – containing toxic substances, not compliant with safety regulations. The goods were immediately seized.
The owner of the business, a Chinese citizen, was reported, accused of illegal marketing of dangerous products. The operation is part of a broader plan to intensify controls to protect consumer health and combat the trade of unsafe items.
