In the first intervention, the agents of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station noticed suspicious movements in vico Decimo Duchessa. Here, a 53-year-old Neapolitan was caught while exchanging small packages for money. Arrested immediately after, the man was found in possession of approximately one gram of cocaine/crack and 40 euros. The house search also led to the seizure of 6,4 grams of hashish and half a gram of marijuana.

Shortly after, in the same area, on Via Giulio Cesare Capaccio, the police noticed a 15-year-old of Albanian origin while he was handing packages to several buyers in exchange for a banknote. At the sight of the officers, the young man attempted to get rid of a pack of cigarettes, which was later recovered and found to contain 18 doses of cocaine/crack for a total weight of 3 grams. The minor was stopped and found also in possession of 59 euros.

Finally, in the Poggioreale neighborhood, officers from the local police station searched the home of a 52-year-old Neapolitan. Inside, they found 36 grams of marijuana, packaging material, 2.850 euros in cash and approximately 10.000 dollars in banknotes.

The three were arrested on charges of illegal possession of narcotics. Investigations are continuing to ascertain any links with the city's drug dealing network.

It is a complicated situation, that of drug trafficking in Naples, and police operations are important, but there should also be more social support for the young people involved in these affairs. It is not easy for them.
