Pietrelcina– The Piazza Santissima Annunziata in Pietrelcina is preparing to host the twenty-sixth edition of Una Voce per Padre Pio, the historic Rai1 broadcast that unites music, faith and solidarity.
Tomorrow evening, at 20 pm, the small Samnite village, birthplace of San Pio, will host an event full of emotion, with Mara Venier as host and a lineup of first-rate artists ready to enchant the public.
The evening will see the performance of great names in Italian music, including Al Bano, Serena Brancale, Marco Masini, Sal Da Vinci, Anna Oxa, Orietta Berti, Settembre, Patty Pravo, Ivana Spagna, Drupi and Simone Grande. An exceptional cast for an event that, like every year, intertwines entertainment and social commitment, celebrating the values of solidarity inspired by the figure of Padre Pio.
“From Pietrelcina, messages of hope and commitment will be sent to alleviate suffering, especially that of children who do not have access to care,” said Mayor Salvatore Mazzone. At the heart of the initiative is the project of the non-profit association Una Voce per Padre Pio, which is dedicated to transporting African children to Italy who suffer from serious congenital heart disease, one of the main causes of infant mortality on the continent.
The broadcast, recorded tomorrow and broadcast on Rai1 on a date yet to be confirmed, promises to be a moment of reflection and entertainment. Mara Venier, the historic face of the event, will guide the audience through touching testimonies and musical performances, creating a bridge between the spirituality of Pietrelcina and the concrete commitment to those who suffer.
The event, which will be held in one of the most symbolic places linked to the life of Saint Pio, is expected by hundreds of people, ready to experience an evening that unites the heart of Italian tradition with international solidarity. The organizing association, active for years in supporting the most vulnerable, continues to raise funds and raise awareness on crucial issues such as access to medical care in less developed countries.
Una Voce per Padre Pio confirms itself as an event capable of speaking to a transversal audience, uniting different generations under the banner of music and solidarity. While Pietrelcina prepares to host this special evening, the anticipation grows for an event that, once again, will leave a mark in the hearts of those who participate, in person or in front of the screens.

Tomorrow's event seems very interesting because it combines music and social commitment, but I wonder if there will really be funds to help sick children. Let's hope that the initiative will be successful and bring real help.
