The road accident yesterday afternoon in the locality of La Pietra in Pozzuoli. Romeo Fiandra, 44, was on the scooter with his wife who was injured not seriously in the fall and admitted to the hospital in shock.

“We learn with sorrow and grief of the loss of our colleague and friend Fiandra Romeo who died a few hours ago in a road accident in Bagnoli. Fiandra Romeo, known as Ciccio, like other workers, had been engaged for 6 years in road maintenance work at the ANC Avellino (Fiumeri) company. Like others, he carried out his work with commitment and passion. Fiandra Romeo was the brother-in-law of Carlo Saulino, our historic comrade in the fight for work in Naples and a colleague and RSA/USB in Montefredane.
