The protagonists of the evening are two masters of the art of confectionery: Mario Di Costanzo, host and point of reference for contemporary pastry making, and Tommaso Foglia, a well-known face on TV and judge on Bake Off Italia.

The event, with limited places and sold out in a few hours, transformed the square into a living room of taste, where the public was able to watch an exceptional show cooking. Great enthusiasm for the live preparation of the dessert “Ti porto al cinema”, an iconic creation by Foglia, a true multisensory journey that enchanted those present.

But the evening was not just about the technique of the two private. What made the initiative truly special was the involvement of the guys from Bottega dei Semplici Pensieri, a company committed to the job placement of young people with Down syndrome. They were entrusted with the drink service with skill and a smile, winning over the public with professionalism and humanity.

"The success of this event - commented Di Costanzo and Foglia - is not only in the desserts, but in the ability to create a space where everyone feels welcomed and valued. It was only the first step: we will return with new opportunities to meet and share".

“In due è più dolce” has thus established itself not only as an important gastronomic event, but also as a message of social beauty: when dessert becomes an opportunity for inclusion, every taste is richer in meaning.

The event that took place in Naples seems to have been really interesting and beautiful, but I don't know if people understood well the meaning of inclusion that was behind it. Confectionery is one thing, but inclusion is another.
