Torre del Greco – Tight controls on the Torre del Greco coast yesterday morning, where the Police of State, in collaboration with the Carabinieri, the Port Authority and the Local Police, conducted a joint operation aimed at verifying compliance with safety and hygiene regulations at bathing facilities.
During the inspection, two beach resorts were scrutinized. In one of the cases, the owner was reported for urban planning irregularities and fined for the lack of lifeguards, which are required by law during the summer season.
The second operator was also administratively fined for similar safety violations, including the lack of a first aid kit and an Ambu bag, an essential device for emergency ventilation.
During the checks, the police also seized 93 kilograms of fish products without traceability documentation, in violation of current health regulations.
The operation is part of a broader plan of coordinated interventions to guarantee legality, safety and protection of public health along the city coast, in view of the intensification of summer tourist activity.

The article talks about checks on the coast but does not explain well what sanctions the managers have received. It would be interesting to have more details on how these violations affect the safety of bathers and the establishments.
