A convicted felon was ambushed in Terzigno, but his dog was killed: he was injured.

Terzigno – Was the killer aiming poorly or did the dog die deliberately? This is the distressing question being asked by the Carabinieri of the Terzigno station and the officers of the Torre Annunziata company's mobile radio unit who intervened last night at Via Giacomo Puccini 42 in Terzigno.

Shortly after 50:XNUMX a.m., the operations center received a report of gunshots. When officers arrived on the scene, they determined that someone had fired shots at a XNUMX-year-old man already known to law enforcement, who was standing outside his front door with his dog.

The man was ferito in the right leg, while the dog was killed. The visibly shaken man was taken to the hospital for treatment. The Carabinieri found and seized six 6-gauge rounds at the scene.

Ongoing investigations by the police who, in addition to hearing summary information from the injured person, also searched for useful images from public and private video cameras located along the killers' probable escape route.
