A small corner of the island that is changing its face, between urban restyling and digital revolution in transportation. The new bus terminal on the island of Capri was inaugurated this morning in Marina Piccola, in the presence of the top management of Atc and the municipal administration. An intervention that represents not only an aesthetic redevelopment, but also a change of pace in the quality of service for residents and visitors.

"With the new terminal, we want to offer a renewed and welcoming image, worthy of Capri ," said ATC CEO Alberto Villa. " At the same time, the new digital ticketing system will be launched, allowing everyone, especially residents, to avoid the lines at the ticket offices: they will be able to purchase passes and tickets directly from home, with a dedicated app, and board in just a few moments."

But innovation doesn't stop at technology. The ceremony also featured the unveiling of the new bus, already tested in recent days and designed to accompany the transformation of public transportation on the island. "Today marks the beginning of a journey ," explained Deputy Mayor Roberto Bozzaotre, " that aims to provide concrete solutions to residents' concerns while simultaneously improving the experience for tourists. Today's inauguration is a first sign, but our task will be to ensure that these services translate into real daily benefits."

The new marina project was designed by Genny Della Rocca, who wanted to recapture the island's authentic soul: "We've restored Marina Piccola to a Capri-like space, inspired by simplicity and tradition, using lightweight, easy-to-maintain materials. It's a minimal project, but designed to last."

The terminal's inauguration seems like a positive step forward for the island of Capri, but we hope that promises will be kept and that residents will truly benefit from the planned changes. Technology can be helpful.
