The curtain is about to fall on the long transfer window that has kept Napoli fans on tenterhooks: according to reports in the Turkish press, Victor Osimhen is one step away from a transfer to Galatasaray.
After weeks of intense negotiations, the two clubs—Napoli and the Istanbul club—have reportedly reached a definitive agreement on the basis of a total transaction worth approximately €80 million: €35 million paid immediately, another €40 million in two installments secured by a bank guarantee, plus €5 million in performance-related bonuses.
The deal has reportedly been finally unblocked in the last few hours by the agreement reached between Galatasaray management and the Nigerian striker, who has reportedly given his approval to the transfer. This would be Osimhen's farewell after four seasons with the Azzurri, culminating in the 2023 Scudetto and the Serie A top scorer title.
The official announcement, barring any last-minute surprises, could come in the next few days.

It's interesting to see how the football market is always in flux, but I'm not sure if this transfer is the right choice for Osimhen, considering his impact at Napoli in recent years.
