San Sebastiano al Vesuvio – An event combining musical elegance and authentic emotion: on Thursday, July 17, at 21.15:XNUMX pm, Fabio Concato will take center stage at the Arena San Sebastiano for a concert included in the "Sere d'estate" series, now in its fourth year.
The initiative, enthusiastically promoted by the municipal administration led by Mayor Giuseppe Panico, confirms itself as one of the most refined cultural events of the Vesuvian summer.
A project that brings together auteur cinema, jazz music, literary events, and singer-songwriter music, thanks to the synergy between institutions and operators in the sector, including the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City of Naples, the Film Commission, Red Carpet, Teatro Troisi , Napoli Jazz Club, Social Break Point, and Rassegna del Verde 2025.
In the evocative setting of the arena, Fabio Concato will perform his "Altro di Me – Tour 2025," accompanied by his longtime musicians: Ornella D'Urbano (piano, keyboards, and arrangements), Gabriele Palazzi Rossi (drums), Stefano Casali (bass), and Larry Tomassini (guitars). This well-established and well-matched ensemble creates a sound that flits between jazz, pop, and singer-songwriter, conveying the most intimate essence of Concato's poetics to the audience.
The concert is inspired by the song "L'altro di me," from the 2012 album Tutto qua, and promises to be an emotional journey through rare gems and classics. A selection of songs often rarely performed live, yet capable of conveying the depth of an artist whose subtlety and irony have become his hallmarks.
It will be a special evening, dedicated to listening and shared memory, where Concato's melodies will strike a deep chord, transcending generations and transforming music into a collective experience. This is a valuable addition to an event that continues to demonstrate how culture, when well curated, can be a driving force of beauty and participation.
The article talks about a concert that was very interesting, but I'm not sure where the arena is. Fabio Concato is an artist who has written beautiful songs, but I don't like all of his songs. Let's hope it's a good evening.
