MILAN – Sixty Inter fans suddenly found themselves outside the stadium, with no official blame or clear explanation. All fan card holders and season ticket holders from last season were denied their right of first refusal to purchase the 2025-2026 season ticket, revealing themselves—without warning—to be "undesirable" to the club.
Representing them are lawyers Mirko Perlino and Mario Bobbio, who have sent a formal warning to Inter, requesting urgent clarification regarding what they describe as "a serious violation of the rights of consumers and sports supporters." The lawyers denounce the lack of official communication and dispute the alleged motive, which is based on errors in compiling the data: for some of these fans, the club simply declared them "undesirable," an informal classification perhaps attributable to the aftermath of the investigation into the stadiums, despite the fact that none of those excluded are currently subject to a ban.
"This is a disproportionate and unacceptable measure," the lawyers argue, "which limits personal freedom and the ability to participate in public events." The request is clear: provide, as required by Inter's own internal code, the official reasons for the exclusion and guarantee the fans' right to a written response. In the meantime, the Nerazzurri club has 48 hours to respond comprehensively. Otherwise, the lawyers are prepared to take the matter to court, both civilly and criminally, and to report the case to the supervisory authorities.
I find it strange that these Inter fans were excluded without clear explanation, and I think it's important that the club respond to their lawyers' requests. Transparency is crucial in these situations, especially when it comes to consumer rights.
