It all happened in the early hours of the morning. According to initial reports, the young man was riding along a road on Isola Verde when, for reasons yet to be determined, he lost control of his motorcycle. The vehicle slammed violently into a boundary wall, with an impact so forceful that it caused irreparable damage.
Rescue efforts: red code and a desperate race against time
Rushed to the Rizzoli Hospital in Ischia with a red code, his condition immediately appeared critical. Doctors immediately performed delicate surgery on him: removing a kidney, attempting to stop a severe hepatic hemorrhage, and treating the brain injuries he sustained in the crash.
Despite emergency procedures, his condition was too critical. Transferred by helicopter to the Ospedale del Mare in Naples, he fought for hours before succumbing to his injuries. His heart stopped shortly before 20:00 PM.
