NNaples– Moments of fear erupted yesterday afternoon in Soccavo, where a woman was shot in the head with a compressed air pistol while sitting on a bench in Via Montagna Spaccata, waiting for her husband.

It was around 15:XNUMX PM when the bullet struck her behind the ear, causing a head injury with a contusion to the left mastoid region. Rescued by an ambulance, the woman was taken to San Paolo Hospital: her condition is not serious, but she sustained injuries and was in profound shock.

The shot may have been fired from a balcony

Borrelli himself addressed the incident, raising a new alarm about the widespread reckless use of toy guns among young people: "We are faced with yet another case demonstrating how air pistols, soft air guns, and even water guns have become a dangerous trend among very young people. These tools are often underestimated, but they are capable of causing serious harm."

The MP called for the immediate analysis of video surveillance footage in the area to identify those responsible and bring them to justice: "We cannot allow incidents like this to go unpunished. Videos of young people using these weapons in the streets as if they were toys are proliferating on social media, but they are not. This trend must be stopped before it causes irreparable consequences."
