Caught while attempting to break into a parked car, he attempted to flee by throwing tools at officers. A 22-year-old man from Castel Volturno, already known to law enforcement, was arrested after being stopped by State Police in the Arenella neighborhood.
The incident occurred on Via Maurizio de Vito Piscicelli, where a patrol car from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue responded to a report from the Operations Room of a car theft in progress.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers noticed a young man fiddling with the hood of a car. Upon seeing the patrol, the 22-year-old attempted to flee, throwing a screwdriver and a socket wrench at the officers in an attempt to hinder their intervention.
Stopped after a brief chase, the young man was arrested for attempted aggravated theft and resisting a public official.

The article recounts an incident that appears serious but is unfortunately not uncommon. Young people often don't consider the consequences of their actions. I hope this young man can reflect and change in the future.
