Following the incident, the man was arrested for aggravated theft, resisting a public officer causing injury, violating a restraining order, and failing to comply with official orders. He was taken to the police station holding cells pending a summary hearing.
Subsequently, a precautionary measure prohibiting him from residing in the Municipality of Naples was issued against him, with a hearing scheduled for September 23.
