Rain has arrived, along with thunderstorms and strong winds. This is significantly later than the weather warning issued yesterday by the Campania Region's Civil Protection Department.
To tell the truth, the storms hit the lower part of the province of Caserta and then the island of Ischia and the Phlegraean area. While the rain but not the storms affected only part of the provinces of Benevento, Avellino, Caserta and Naples but not the province of Salerno.
The storms, as can be seen from the movements of the disturbance visible on the Campanialive weather site, are already moving away from Campania and Italy and are heading towards Greece and the countries of Eastern Europe.
