A 19-year-old man dies after crashing his scooter off a bridge in Pozzuoli.

PPozzuoli – A tragedy struck Pozzuoli this afternoon, where an 18-year-old man lost his life in a serious road accident.

The victim, A.Dm., the son of well-known local restaurateurs, was riding his motorcycle when, for reasons still under investigation, he collided violently with a car.

The fatal impact and the chilling scene

The impact was devastating. The young man was thrown from his scooter, flying over a hundred meters before landing on the entrance and exit ramp of the tunnel below. A violent impact that left him with no chance of escape.

The scene that first responders saw was horrifying: the destroyed scooter, wedged between two traffic signs, and the lifeless body of the young man on the road below. Initial aid, provided by passing motorists and 118 paramedics, was unfortunately in vain. All attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful.
