San Giorgio a Cremano – Tomorrow, the evocative setting of Villa Bruno will host the 16th edition of the “Ammaturo – Legality City of Naples Award,” an event dedicated to the memory of Antonio Ammaturo, head of the Naples Flying Squad, and Select Officer Pasquale Paola, assassinated on July 15, 1982, in Piazza Nicola Amore.
The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the laying of wreaths in Piazza Nicola Amore, a moment of reflection in honor of the victims. Following this, at 10:30 a.m., Villa Bruno will host a high-profile debate moderated by Adriano Albano, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of TGR Rai Campania.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, the Honorable Wanda Ferro, the former Attorney General of the Court of Appeal of Naples, Antonio Gialanella, and Leandro Del Gaudio, a journalist for “Il Mattino,” will participate.
The event will open with greetings from Naples Police Chief Maurizio Agricola, in the presence of civil and military authorities. The ceremony will be enriched by a musical performance by artists from the NAP – Naples Arts Performing Academy, conducted by Maestro Carlo Morelli. At the conclusion, an award will be given to a judicial police operation that stood out for its merit, underscoring the commitment of law enforcement in the fight for legality.

The event seems truly interesting and of great importance for the memory of the victims. It would be wonderful if more people participated in these events so as not to forget history. Legality is fundamental for all of us.
