Naples – A 20-year-old man has been issued a precautionary custody order, executed by the Carabinieri of the Bagnoli company on the orders of the preliminary investigations judge of the Court of Naples, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate.
The boy is seriously suspected of attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm, crimes aggravated by mafia methods.
According to investigators' reconstruction, on February 9th he allegedly fired a gunshot at another person in the Pianura neighborhood.
Only the timely intervention of residents, alerted by the gunshot and ready to contact the police, prevented more serious consequences.
The investigation, supported by the victim's testimony, analysis of phone records, and images from video surveillance systems in the area, allowed investigators to reconstruct the dynamics of the ambush and identify the alleged perpetrator.
