Naples Ring Road: 65-year-old man on scooter going the wrong way is stopped by police.

Naples – Dangerous moments have occurred in recent days on the Naples ring road, where a 65-year-old woman was caught riding a moped in the wrong direction on the stretch of highway A56 between Corso Malta and Capodimonte.

The report reached the Highway Operations Centre, which immediately alerted the Police.

The officers, who arrived on the scene, were able to intercept and arrest the woman, thus putting an end to a behavior that had put her own safety and that of other motorists at risk.

The checks revealed that the vehicle was uninsured and untested. The 65-year-old was fined according to the Highway Code and had her scooter seized.

It's strange how someone that age could do something like this, going the wrong way on the ring road. There should be more checks to prevent similar situations; safety is important for all drivers.

This person going the wrong way on a scooter without insurance etc etc. is anything but a person, he is unfortunately one of the many animals that live in the zoo of the city of Naples.
