Some praise the 'Neapolitan Method' (as if violence were a Southern Italian issue), while others condemn the verbal and physical violence perpetrated by a soldier against a man on a bus in Rimini.

“Stop, good boy, I'll bash your head in if I find out you're making a mess in here,” shouts the soldier in the video posted by digital creator Gian Fanfarillo HD on Facebook. Then, the soldier slaps the passenger twice while still yelling at him.

"I don't bother people," says the man, visibly unstable. His timid, calm defense doesn't calm the soldier, who continues to rant and fuss.

The internet is divided over the methods used by the Neapolitan soldier.

A few seconds of images and audio sparked a web outcry, divided between those for and against the soldier's violent methods. Haters were unleashed against the passenger, but there were also widespread condemnations of the soldier's abusive and violent methods. Some applauded him, while others demanded that the soldier be punished for abusing his authority.

The reel posted on Facebook on August 26th received over 3600 comments and almost 4500 likes.

"Strong against the weak... who knows what they'll do with the strong. You hiss on that poor guy and he falls to the ground. Uncalled for violence," reads the comments. And then many replies defending the soldier," reads one comment.

And then instead: “Carte blanche to the police to educate the s…t we have around in the cities, we're afraid to even go out alone or let our children walk around alone because there are plenty of scum out there... the military did the right thing, in our house we're in charge and whoever comes here must respect the rules” writes a person who never misses an opportunity to lash out against non-EU citizens even though in this case the man harassed by the soldier is clearly Italian.

There are those who condemn the soldier's gesture and violence: "I don't understand, but can he do that? And if he had reacted, wouldn't that have been an insult to a public official? And this gesture, in my opinion, is an abuse of power... but how are they applying the laws, booooooo?"

And those who still rebel against center-right politicians and their 'barroom' laws: "These are the ones who then, with a middle school diploma, join the Carabinieri and even make some career advancements," reads one of the many comments.

Now, for those who love violence, abuse, and injustice, it's fine, those who love Salvini and the barroom laws made by workers who have never attempted to study or prepare vaguely for any competitive exam, but for people who left these methods in the 40s, this subject must be kept away..."

It's strange to see how people react to situations like this. Violence should not be tolerated under any circumstances, even by law enforcement. There should be more respect and less aggression in these situations, in my opinion.

Hypocrisy is rampant... false respectability even more so!!
What did that man do???!!
The video should have shown everything!
Before judging... think... For example, if that guy had bothered your daughter, you would have thanked that soldier!
