Checks continue at nightlife venues in the Vomero neighborhood. Last night, law enforcement officers were also on the move to ensure consumer protection, especially among young people who flock to the streets at night and consume without much regard for the quality of the food they're served.
In fact, last night 13 people were checked commercial businessesSome of the owners were charged with significant non-compliance, and regulations were imposed for various violations, resulting in administrative fines totaling €2.860. Furthermore, a worker was found not complying with the regulations in one business.
An illegal worker was also discovered
The operation is part of the services provided by the Naples Police Headquarters and was carried out by the officers of the Secondigliano, Arenella and Nuovo Palazzo di Giustizia police stations together with the military of the Guardia di Finanza, the personnel of the Local Police, of the ASL NA1 Centro and of thelabor Inspectorate.
The checks were carried out in particular in San Martino, in Via Giordano, Via Falcone, Via Scarlatti and in Piazza Medaglie D'Oro and Piazza Vanvitelli.
During the operation, the operators identified a total of 79 people, checked 28 vehicles and reported 6 violations of the Highway Code.

It's important for law enforcement to check these establishments, but I hope they aren't too harsh on the owners. Many of them work hard and aren't always aware of the laws.
