Another earthquake struck overnight in Campi Flegrei, following the one reported last night and felt by residents.
At 3,45 last night the seismographs of the Vesuvian Observatory recorded a shock of magnitude 1.6 with geographic coordinates (lat, lon) 40.8367, 14.1105 to a depth of 3 km.
The earthquake originated in the Via Fascione area and was preceded by a loud boom that startled residents. However, no damage to people or property was reported.
Earlier, at 20,42:2.3 PM, a magnitude 2,8 earthquake was recorded, with its epicenter in the area of Via San Gennaro in Agnano at a depth of XNUMX kilometers. The event was felt by residents in Bagnoli, Pisciarelli, Gerolomini, and Astroni.
This earthquake was also preceded by a loud boom. A third seismic event was recorded at 19,15:1.2 PM, with a magnitude of XNUMX, with geographic coordinates (lat, lon). 40.8172, 14.0893 to a depth of 3 km.
