Afragola – The Naples Police Headquarters continues its extraordinary drug and weapons checks. Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Afragola police station arrested a 31-year-old local man, already known to law enforcement, on charges of illegal possession of narcotics.
The police officers noticed him slowly driving along Via Alcide De Gasperi in his car, with a suspicious attitude, as if he were waiting for a meeting.
After a few minutes of waiting, the pusher approached the sidewalk and was approached by a person, to whom he gave a package in exchange for a banknote.
Officers immediately intervened, detaining the 31-year-old and searching the car. Inside, they found 18 doses of cocaine, weighing approximately 8 grams in total, a piece of hashish, and €130 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The man was arrested and handed over to the judicial authorities.
It's important for the police to investigate these illegal activities. However, I wonder if this is an isolated case or if there are other drug dealers in the area. More vigilance and safety for citizens is needed.
