What was supposed to be a preparatory test turned into a tense evening . In Cadiz, the summer friendly between Real Betis and Como 1907 on August 6th was anything but sporting.

The Lombardy team's harsh tackles fueled the opponents' nerves and also inflamed tensions among the coaching staff. The incident that ignited the fuse came shortly before halftime, when Pablo Fornals, annoyed by a foul, responded by slapping Perrone. The Como player responded immediately, sparking a brawl involving several teammates and opponents. The referee attempted to restore order by sending off Perrone and Héctor Bellerín, the latter of whom entered the fray to defend a teammate.

Despite the tension, the match continued to provide thrills on a sporting level: Como took a two-goal lead through Assane Diao and Lucas Da Cunha, Betis fought back with Isco's penalty and Junior Firpo's goal, and Iván Azón's decisive goal in injury time secured a 3-2 win for the Lombardy side. But the post-match tensions didn't diminish. Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini engaged in a heated exchange with Como manager Cesc Fàbregas, accusing his team of an overly aggressive approach.

The article describes the match situation well, but in my opinion, it's unfair that there were so many fouls and brawls. The players should behave more sportsmanlikely and respect their opponents.
