Tension and violence erupted overnight at the Moscati Hospital in Avellino. Three people were charged with resisting a public officer and disrupting public service after causing chaos inside the emergency room.

According to the reconstruction, the group showed up late in the evening to visit a hospitalized family member, but attempted to force their way into the triage area, which was closed to the public. A scuffle ensued, with threats and shoving against the security guards on duty, who immediately alerted the police.

Flying Squad officers intervened within minutes, restoring calm and identifying those responsible. They were reported, and the emergency room was able to resume normal operations. The incident refocuses attention on the safety of healthcare workers and security personnel, who are increasingly the target of assaults in hospitals.

I completely agree with you: it's unacceptable for incidents like this to occur in hospitals. Safety must be a priority to protect both patients and medical staff.

It's truly incredible how people don't understand that hospitals are places of care, not violence. These situations hurt everyone, especially those in need. There should be more controls.
