Naples – A heat wave is approaching Campania. The Regional Civil Protection Functional Center has issued a criticality warning valid from 8:10 a.m. tomorrow, Sunday, August 20, until 12:XNUMX p.m. on Tuesday, August XNUMX.
Forecasts indicate temperatures will rise by up to 5-7°C above seasonal averages, accompanied by particularly high humidity levels, especially along the coast, where in the evening and night hours they could reach and exceed 60-70%, in conditions of poor ventilation.
The Civil Protection Department urges the public to limit outdoor activities during the hottest hours of the day, avoid direct sun exposure, and minimize car travel. Particular caution is recommended for the elderly, children, heart patients, and people with chronic conditions, who are most exposed to the risks associated with high temperatures.
Recommendations include: ventilate rooms, stay hydrated by drinking water regularly, and pay attention to pets, avoiding leaving them indoors or in the sun.
Local authorities are encouraged to activate assistance and monitoring procedures for the most vulnerable segments of the population. Further advice and information is available on the Ministry of Health's heatwave website: salute.gov.it/caldo.

The article about the heat wave in Campania is important, but I don't quite understand why there are so many warnings, and if it's so hot, I don't know what exactly we should do to stay healthy. It's all complicated.
