Kevin De Bruyne 's Napoli adventure got off to a fantastic start ! The Belgian midfielder immediately scored his first Serie A goal, contributing to the 2-0 victory over Sassuolo. It was a dream debut that sent Napoli fans wild.
The first goal and the winning mentality
Interviewed by Dazn, De Bruyne didn't hide his happiness. "What did I think when I saw the ball go in? It was nice to start like that. I kicked it into a danger zone, and then no one touched it. It was absolutely beautiful."
The Belgian immediately demonstrated a winning mentality, focused on hard work and continuous improvement. "Here in Italy, the way we work and the way we understand our work is very different than in England," the 34-year-old explained. "But I'm the one who has to adapt to my teammates, not them to me. We could have done even better today; we have to keep working to replicate what happened last year."
A champion at the service of the team
His words make it clear that De Bruyne didn't come to Naples to be a star, but to serve the team and fight for our colors. His humility and desire to win are a boost of confidence for the entire Azzurri.
With a champion of his caliber, the dream of another season as a protagonist is no longer a pipe dream. Perhaps the Belgian could give us one of the greatest joys ever: a second star. And at that point, we'll no longer be able to "keep calm."

It's a great debut for De Bruyne with Napoli, but there's still a lot to improve on. Let's hope he continues to score and do well for the team. Mentality is important, but so is physical condition.
It was a great match. De Bruyne scored a goal I wasn't expecting, but I thought it would be difficult for him to adapt to Italy. The team played well, even if there were some inaccuracies.
It's nice to see Kevin De Bruyne already in form and having conceded a goal, but it's important he doesn't let it go to his head. We need to keep working hard and not think we're the best; there are a lot of games to play.
