Discomfort and controversy have arisen at the Vecchio Pellegrini Hospital in Naples, where a fault in the air conditioning and heating systems has forced patients to be transferred to other facilities.
The complaint, accompanied by a video, was sent to the Green Left Alliance MP, Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
"It is unacceptable that in 2025, such an important hospital could experience problems like this," the report states. "The health and dignity of patients have been put at risk. We are witnessing yet another episode of medical malpractice in Naples."
And unfortunately, the news reports of Naples in recent years have been full of cases like this.
The MP immediately requested clarification from the health department. "I requested immediate investigations into the citizens' complaints and the manner in which the patients were transferred," Borrelli stated.
We need to determine which departments were affected by the breakdown, what inconvenience the patients suffered, and, above all, how long it will take for the air conditioning system, which is essential at this time of year, to be restored.
Official feedback from the hospital management is currently awaited.

It's very important that this situation be resolved as soon as possible, as the health of our patients is paramount. We hope that management will take the appropriate measures and that there won't be any more problems like this in the future.
