Naples: A 21-year-old Tunisian man caught dealing drugs in the city center! Arrested for drugs and resisting arrest. Welcome to the amusement park of legality!
Naples – Caught selling drugs in broad daylight in the heart of the city, a 21-year-old Tunisian man was arrested by the State Police for illegal possession of narcotics and resisting arrest.
The raid took place yesterday afternoon, during one of the extraordinary territorial control operations ordered by the Naples Police Headquarters to combat drug dealing and illegal possession of weapons.
The officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, while passing through Piazza Capuana , noticed a rapid suspicious exchange between two men: one exchanged an object for a banknote.
Suspicious, the police intervened quickly to break up the exchange. The man, upon seeing the officers, attempted to flee and resisted, but was apprehended after a brief struggle.
Identified as an illegal Tunisian citizen in Italy and already known to law enforcement for specific criminal convictions, the 21-year-old was found in possession of 14 doses of cocaine, weighing approximately 3 grams in total, as well as €10 in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.
The buyer was also arrested and fined for possession of narcotics for personal use.
The pusher was eventually arrested in flagrante delicto and taken to the police station, pending the determination of the judicial authorities.

It's strange how there are people selling drugs in broad daylight, but perhaps they don't know it's dangerous and illegal. The police are right to intervene, but we also need to educate young people not to do these things.
