Naples – The synergy between law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of a minor in the heart of Naples, after he attempted to rob a luxury watch.
Yesterday afternoon, the State Police and the Guardia di Finanza arrested a 16-year-old Neapolitan, now accused of attempted robbery and assault.

The incident occurred on Via Sant'Anna dei Lombardi, where officers from the Montecalvario Police Station, carrying out a territorial control operation, noticed a man fleeing in the direction of Via Maddaloni.
Meanwhile, thanks to a tip-off from passersby, a Guardia di Finanza patrol had also started chasing the fugitive. After a brief chase, the officers caught up with the boy, who had already been detained by the military.
Shortly after, the victim approached the officers, reporting that the 16-year-old had attempted to snatch his watch, a Rolex worth approximately €35. Failing to secure his possession, the young man fled and ended up in the hands of law enforcement. For these reasons, the 16-year-old was arrested.
The incident highlights the importance of collaboration between different police forces, especially during a period of high tourist influx, to ensure the safety of citizens and the many visitors who flock to Naples' historic center.
