Naples – The new strategic management of ASL Napoli 1 Centro was officially inaugurated this morning. Gaetano Gubitosa, a manager with five years of experience as general manager of the Sant'Anna and San Sebastiano Hospital in Caserta, takes over the helm of the healthcare facility.
Gubitosa will be joined by Amalia Carrara, appointed administrative director, also coming from the Caserta hospital where she held the same position, and by Maria Corvino, confirmed in the role of health director of the ASL Napoli 1 Centro.
The new leadership is called upon to manage one of the largest and most complex healthcare companies in Italy, with jurisdiction over a territory that includes much of the Campania capital.

The appointment of the new strategic management team appears to be an important step for the ASL Napoli 1 Centro. We hope that the experiences of Gubitosa and Carrara will lead to improvements in the area's healthcare services.
Yes, it's essential that those leading these institutions are well-trained. Public healthcare needs competent people to address daily challenges and improve the quality of services.
