Pomigliano – Tension last night in the nightlife of Pomigliano d'Arco, where a sixteen year old attacked three police officers municipal police to avoid a check. The young man, found in possession of hashish, cash, and a cell phone, reacted violently, kicking the officers, who suffered bruises that would heal in seven days.
He was reported and later handed over to his family. The incident occurred during a routine patrol in the nightlife area, frequented by young people and characterized by intense evening activity.
The officers, suspicious of the sixteen-year-old's behavior, who was nervously fiddling with a bag in the company of another boy, decided to proceed with a check.

The other boy present managed to escape, while the sixteen-year-old was immobilized after a short scuffle.The subsequent search confirmed the officers' suspicions: a small ball of hashish, 202 euros in cash, and a cell phone were found in the young man's bag.
The material was seized, and the sixteen-year-old was charged with possession of narcotics, resisting arrest, and assaulting a public official. Investigations are ongoing to identify the escaped accomplice and determine any further responsibilities.
The incident has reignited the debate over safety in nightlife areas and drug dealing among young people, a problem law enforcement is addressing with increasingly tighter controls. Despite their injuries, the three officers have resumed regular duty, while the local community is questioning how to prevent similar violent incidents.
