Ad AfragolaNaples, the first day of school brings a heartbreaking silence for Marcello Carbonaro. His daughter Martina, killed at just 14 years old last May, will never return to school. Speaking to the microphones of Italian stories On Rai1, the father recounts his pain and disbelief at the tragedy that struck his family.
Martina was hit on the head with a stone, four times, by her ex-boyfriend Alessio, described by Marcello “a monster, worse than Satan.”

Marcello's story is truly tragic and sobering. It's incredible how such events can happen in a family. I hope justice is served, but the pain will remain forever.
