The achievement represents not only a scientific first, but also a concrete sign of environmental recovery for an area long marked by degradation. During the ceremony, the association will present awards to the initiative's volunteers and supporters, with works created by artist Alessandro Ciambrone, to celebrate the commitment that made this record nesting possible.

It's very interesting to see how Caretta caretta sea turtles are returning to nest in this area, but more information is needed on how this project works and what the next steps are.
The article discusses sea turtles but doesn't fully explain how the nest inspections were conducted. It would be helpful to have more details on how the volunteers work and what kind of support they receive from local institutions to protect these species.
