San Prisco – A story of harassment, threats, and violence that ended in arrest. Carabinieri officers from the San Prisco station put an end to a young woman's nightmare by deferring the arrest of her ex-boyfriend, a 26-year-old from Santa Maria Capua Vetere, on stalking charges.
The arrest comes after an escalation of behavior persecutors which the young drug addict allegedly engaged in from the beginning of the relationship last July. According to the investigation, the man immediately displayed morbid jealousy, which resulted in an obsessive series of video calls, insults, and constant threats.
The most serious incidents, which prompted the victim to report the crime, date back to mid-September.

The most alarming incident, however, occurred on the night of September 22nd: the 26-year-old allegedly slapped the girl again in the face while she was sleeping, accompanying the attack with insults and a very serious threat: "Sooner or later I'll stab you." Not content with that, he also allegedly locked her door, preventing her from escaping and seeking help from her family.
The next day, the woman managed to reach her parents and find the courage to go to the Carabinieri to file a complaint. During the search of the 26-year-old's home, officers found drug paraphernalia such as crack and marijuana, while a 13-cm-long kitchen knife and a hammer were found, well hidden, inside his car, adding a further, disturbing twist to the story.
Given the crimes and the gravity of the situation, the 26-year-old was arrested and transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
