Forced to live in an iron cage placed in a public flowerbed in Scampia, under the scorching sun and inclement weather. This is the condition in which a dog was found, the victim of abuse that has outraged the public. The report reached Green-Left MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who reported the incident along with activist Enrico Rizzi.
Volunteers from the A. association intervened on site.

“What happened to Scampia it's shameful,” he said Borrelli, emphasizing the need for increased controls and zero tolerance for those who continue to treat animals as objects to be locked up. "I thank the volunteers and everyone who mobilized to save him: today this dog has a new chance at life, but his owner must pay for what he did."

It's really sad to see these things. I hope there are more actions to protect animals and that people realize their importance in our society. They should never be considered objects.
The situation described in the article is very worrying. It's unacceptable that an animal be treated this way and locked in a cage. There are laws that must be followed, and anyone who harms animals must be severely punished.
