Afragola– A quick robbery, but the police's response was even quicker. Last night, officers from the Afragola Police Station arrested two local offenders, a 35-year-old and a 46-year-old, on charges of aggravated robbery involving a local pharmacy.

It all started with a call to the Operations Room. Shortly before, at II Traversa Viottolo Nicola Setola, a nightmare for the pharmacy employees. A man with his face covered by a balaclava entered.

The action is lightning-fast: without wasting words, the man reaches into his sweatshirt pocket, mimics the shape of a weapon, and gestures for the cashier to hand over the proceeds. The threats are subtle, but more than effective: he is handed approximately €400 from the cash register. Then, the dramatic turn of events: the robber doesn't flee on foot, but instead escapes in a car driven by an accomplice who was waiting for him with the engine running.

However, police cars from the police station quickly arrived on the scene. A pharmacy employee, still in shock, recounted the horrifying incident . The officers wasted no time: they gathered descriptions and immediately reviewed surveillance camera footage. Those images proved crucial.

The two bandits were tracked down at home: they still had the loot on them

In a precision operation, the police quickly tracked down the two suspects, tracking them down and arresting them near their homes. Confirmation came during the search: the 35-year-old was found with the entire loot, the €400 he had just stolen. This was damning evidence that left no room for doubt.

For the two men, both already known to law enforcement for similar crimes, there was no time to enjoy their ill-gotten gains. After the usual formalities, they were taken to prison, while the city has already regained a measure of security thanks to the work of the officers.
